IN THE BEGINNING
For over a decade, I worked in events with one simple goal: to make stressful events feel easier for the people organising them.
I worked with clients who were juggling timelines, stakeholders, and multiple expectations, often worrying something would be missed. My role was never just about how an event ran. It was about taking pressure off their plate and helping them feel calm and supported.
I used to say the same thing every time: “Don’t worry, you’re in good hands. Your job is to sit back, relax, and enjoy.”
And that approach worked really well. I had lots of repeat clients and referrals. Not just because the events were amazing, but because their lives felt easier. They knew they didn’t have to think about every detail. They could trust that it was being handled, and that feeling mattered most to them.
Then I became a dad.
